As timing
would have it, our keeper of IBA’s player email list got hit with a virus which is being
cleaned up now. The email list is safe, but email announcements cannot be
distributed. Please tell your friends to check in here for the latest information.

Events Resume At Pogo
Many of you
have anxiously been waiting for this announcement. Your responses to our Player
Poll warmed the hearts of the world. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts
with IBA. (To view the responses, just click the Player Poll icon above.)
Your IBA Team
agreed unanimously that when our players showed their support, we would resume our
events. That message of support was clearly received in the Player Poll replies.
However, we want you to know that we have taken a very firm stand against allowing IBA
Events to be used for a political forum.
Any player
displaying malice toward others based on nationality, religion, or political stance
during IBA events will be muted by all players and a report will be filed immediately
with Pogo’s Disciplinary Action Team. Further, that player will be listed as
unwelcome in any future IBA events. There will be no exceptions.

IBA Adds a
New Tournament Slot to Our Line Up
Beginning
September 22, 2001, IBA will host a 6PM PT Tournament each Saturday thanks to our Intern
Huggles_IBA! As soon as she gets her host smiley, she will take over this slot
permanently. Let’s all get to know her and welcome her to our Saturdays. 🙂

IBA is very concerned about the well being of all of our family. Those known to
be in the New York/Washington D.C. areas are uppermost in our minds. We are
posting those player names here that have contacted IBA to let us know they are safe and
sound. Please pass the word to everyone effected to get in touch with us at northernjoy@northernsworld.com
and we will list their name here.
