With each IBA event you participate in, you will receive win points as follows:

0 points for a bye

2 points for each match win

5 bonus points for second place

10 bonus points for first place

PLEASE NOTE:  IBA has been growing by leaps and bounds through our first year of hosting quality events online.  As the number of players and events has grown, so has our record keeping.  We appreciate that many players enjoy wearing a variety of player names to our events and IBA has accommodated everyone this past year by combining IBA Winner Points for determining eligibility to our Top Dog Invitational and our year end special events.  Unfortunately, we can no longer do so.  You are welcome to use more than one player name.  Just please be aware that effective January 2, 2001, your IBA Winner Points earned at each IBA event will be credited to the name you wear to that event.

Top Dog Invitational:  On the Saturday of the second weekend of the month, the Top sixty-four in Winner Points from the previous month will compete in IBA’s Top Dog Tournament. Format will be five point matches, seven point Finals Match, single elimination with a fifty-minute match time limit (no time limit on the Final Match).

Substitute Player Rule: If two or more players earning the same number of Winner Points exceed sixty-four eligible players, they shall become Substitute Players and will replace ‘no show’ players. Additional Substitute Players may also be assigned to complete the brackets by using the next highest-ranking player(s) in Winner Points present at the event.
